BBC The Traitors star Judy Wilson revealed delightful baby news as she announced that her daughter Roxy is expecting. The 60 year old Child Liaison Officer became the first contestant to be eliminated from the fourth series of the BBC smash hit.

At the time, she mentioned she wasn't bothered about departing because daughter Roxy had stayed in the castle, though their fellow contestants remained oblivious to their family ties.

After her departure from the programme, Judy made an appearance on This Morning with co-star Netty Österberg, who had also been given the boot from the show.

Chatting to presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on the ITV morning favourite, Judy seized the moment to deliver a family announcement: "Can I just say, Roxy is having a baby."

The studio erupted in gasps as Ben quickly offered heartfelt congratulations, saying: "Oh, congratulations."

Cat repeated: "Congratulations" Ben added: "That's amazing. So you'll be grandma for how many times is this now?".

Judy confirmed: "12" The room filled with laughter as fellow Traitors contestant Netty quipped: "She's got football."

Ben asked: "When is the baby due?" Judy disclosed: "June."

Ben responded: "How exciting. Congratulations to Roxy and all the family."

Judy departed the game after collecting 16 votes at the inaugural roundtable, though she had entered the Traitors' castle with a pre-existing secret. Her daughter Roxy also starred in the fourth series of the popular BBC One programme, reports Wales Online.

The pair aimed to keep their familial ties under wraps, but Roxy nearly spilled the beans on the very first day.

During a challenge, Roxy inadvertently revealed that Judy was her mother, although, fortunately, none of her fellow contestants noticed the slip-up.

The task required the participants to row out to sea, retrieve coffins, and bring them back to shore. Roxy and Judy were on the same team, with Roxy seated behind her mum as they rowed.

However, she blurted out: "Stop, Mum! Stop, stop, stop, guys!".

Sharp-eyed BBC One viewers didn't miss this, however, and took to Reddit to discuss it. One viewer started a thread titled: "Did anyone else catch this slip up?".

They speculated: "I wondered whether this was Roxy talking to Judy – revealing their relationship by accident in the heat of the moment?"

One person replied: "My wife spotted this and pointed it out straight away. I think we may have more than one parent and child in the competition as well."

Another Reddit user wrote: "I'm shocked none of the others in the boat noticed this. I guess they're still too busy with their 'reading facial expressions' strategy."
