Miley Cyrus has cheekily suggested that her engagement ring from Maxx Morando was the result of a "Black Friday deal".
The 33-year-old star recently confirmed she's set to tie the knot with the musician, revealing he popped the question during a romantic getaway to Japan. Now, she's dished the dirt on her ring, hinting that Maxx might have bagged a bargain in the annual holiday sales.
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host playfully suggested Maxx could have saved himself the trouble of finding a Christmas gift if he'd waited a few more weeks to propose. He quipped at Miley: "Your fiancé, I wonder if he realises ... if he waited like, three weeks he wouldn't have to come up with a Christmas gift."
Quick with a witty retort as ever, the Flowers singer joked back: "This was [a] Black Friday deal, baby." She then added, keeping us all guessing: "It wasn't but he was smart that way. It might have been. I'm not sure."
During the show, Miley also confessed she's not exactly buzzing for the festive season, as she has a major gripe with Christmas - she can't stand paper. She explained her unusual aversion: "Well, Christmas, I'm known as a little bit of a grinch because I have a qualm with Christmas. I hate paper ..
"Like, looking at that [paper on your desk] makes me want to vomit .. The real problem is people have dry hands and they touch paper and then it's Christmas and it's cold and everyone's hands are dry and they're all touching paper.
"When someone sends me a lovely letter, I don't even open it. That's why I got engaged. I make my fiancé open all the packages outside."
Miley - who was previously wed to actor Liam Hemsworth - also revealed she'll be absolutely fine putting pen to paper for her next marriage certificate since they're typically printed on "waxed" paper, which doesn't trigger her phobia.
She explained: "This is the thing is waxed paper, like anything that's got like a smooth surface, that's better and from the last marriage, I think I remember that the paper is waxed."
The pop star went on to describe her paper phobia: "I love text message. No paper. Email, no paper. Phone call, no paper. It's the ... eh, I can't even talk about it ..
"It's getting worse so there does need to be some sort of intervention and I am going to look into some sort of EMDR, being hypnotized about it because it's affecting my everyday life."
