Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay confessed he was "a hot mess" whilst discussing his daughter Holly's festive wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
The pair exchanged vows at Bath Abbey, though the high-profile ceremony made headlines after the groom's parents and several family members were reportedly not invited following a disagreement.
Drama also unfolded outside the historic venue as photographers jostled to capture images of the bride, who concealed her designer dress beneath a white cloak.
More than a week on from the 27 December ceremony, the bride's father, renowned chef Gordon, has shared details about the special day during an appearance on ITV's This Morning on Monday, 5 January, alongside his daughter Tilly.
Before their cookery segment, the duo chatted with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, who were returning from their festive break to a revamped studio, reports Wales Online.
Following introductions and festive catch-up, Ben turned his attention to the wedding, saying: "Can we just say how stunning the pictures were, it looked like the most amazing day Tilly, what was it like?"
Tilly, who served as bridesmaid wearing a striking red Victoria Beckham gown, responded: "It was so emotional but incredible to see her and Adam so happy and yeah it was a big day for all of us."
Cat enquired of Gordon: "How was the speech? It's quite hard to do something like that because you want to entertain everybody but also at the same time the emotion..." Gordon responded: "It's tough, honestly... being a dad with three daughters you dream of that moment, that moment arrives and you're just like a hot mess. The speech was perfect, it went well, you've got to be warm and emotional - a tough gig."
Tilly revealed that her father practised his speech with her. She shared: "It was Christmas Eve, I was sat in his room for an hour as he was just reading through it. He was going through everything but no tweaks were needed, it was perfect, it made everybody cry."
Holly selected three wedding dresses for her special day, including one change into her mum Tana's bridal gown, which she wore when she wed Gordon. He confessed "it was a bit of a shock" when he saw his daughter in it.
Gordon then posed a question to Tilly, asking if she would wear her mother's wedding dress if she were to get married. To this, the former Strictly star responded, "I would love to".
